THE TEAM
The Talent & Culture team at Rosewood Hotel Group is dedicated to attracting, developing, and rewarding our most valuable asset: our Associates. Based in our Global Headquarters in Hong Kong, the APAC Talent & Culture team partners closely with regional properties and global offices to bring to life the philosophy of Relationship Hospitality. This role reports to the Director, Talent and Culture, APAC and has two direct reports.
YOUR ROLE
As Manager, Talent and Culture, APAC, you will be a key driver of people strategy and operations across the APAC region and the Hong Kong headquarters. You will lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, operational efficiency, and compliance, while supporting the development of a high-performing, culturally aligned workforce. Your work will directly influence the experience of our associates and contribute to the continued success of Rosewood Hotel Group.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
- Deliver strategic HR support to the Hong Kong global office, aligning talent initiatives with business objectives.
- Provide full-spectrum HR advisory services to corporate stakeholders and APAC properties.
- Lead the development and enhancement of talent and culture processes, policies, and systems.
- Oversee onboarding, offboarding, visa applications, and benefits administration for the corporate office.
- Ensure compliance with Hong Kong labor laws and collaborate with payroll for accurate processing.
- Drive employee engagement and productivity through culture-building initiatives.
- Analyze onboarding and exit survey data to inform continuous improvement.
- Support regional and global HR projects across APAC and corporate locations.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
- You have significant HR experience at Manager level in hospitality, retail, or FMCG industries, with a strong understanding of Hong Kong labor law and compliance.
- You hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in HR Management, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- You’re principled and prepared to challenge behaviors that don’t align with company values.
- You thrive in multicultural environments and bring an international mindset with high cultural sensitivity.
- You’re resilient and tenacious, with a high-touch approach to people operations.
- You’re a strategic thinker and change agent, capable of driving new initiatives and influencing stakeholders.
