Role Overview

 

At Rosewood Red Sea, we create memorable dining experiences through intuitive service, genuine hospitality, and meticulous attention to detail. Guided by our philosophy of Relationship Hospitality and A Sense of Place, we are seeking passionate and service-oriented Waiters and Waitresses to join our signature French & Italian restaurant.

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional luxury dining experiences by providing personalized, knowledgeable, and attentive service while showcasing the elegance of French and Italian cuisine. As our restaurant caters to an international clientele, fluency in French is an essential requirement for this position

Key Responsibilities


  • Deliver warm, gracious, and personalized service throughout the guest dining journey.
  • Welcome guests, escort them to their tables, and introduce the restaurant concept.
  • Present menus with confidence, explaining dishes, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials.
  • Recommend food and beverage pairings that enhance the guest experience.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly with professionalism and discretion.
  • Handle guest feedback and service recovery with empathy and efficiency.
  • Prepare restaurant stations before service, ensuring all mise en place is complete.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Serve food and beverages according to Rosewood luxury service standards.
  • Ensure correct sequence and timing of service throughout each dining experience.
  • Monitor tables continuously to maintain exceptional service standards.
  • Process guest bills accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of:
    1. French and Italian cuisine
    2. Restaurant menus and seasonal offerings
    3. Beverage lists
    4. Ingredients and allergens
    5. Wine and food pairing recommendations
  • Stay updated on menu changes and promotional offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant, service stations, and equipment.
  • Follow Rosewood brand standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Support opening, closing, and inventory procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
  • Assist colleagues during busy service periods to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma or certification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Waiter or Waitress in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Previous experience in a French, Italian, or European fine dining restaurant is highly preferred.
  • Experience within Forbes Five-Star or Michelin-standard establishments is an advantage.

Located along Saudi Arabia's west coast on the Shura Island, the new Rosewood hotel and residences will be part of The Red Sea destination. Poised to be one of Saudi Arabia's top cultural and lifestyle hubs, the development is comprised of a stunning marina offering a yacht club, commercial retail and dining options, as well as an 18-hole championship golf course. The development will boast 149 guest rooms and suites, alongside elevated dining offerings including three restaurants, two lounges, a signature Manor Club and a central hub featuring authentic eateries. Additional recreational spaces will include event pavilions and Asaya, Rosewood's integrative well-being concept consisting of seven treatment rooms, a gym, two movement studios and a yoga pavilion.
