A Day in the Life

As a Spa Concierge at Rosewood Amsterdam, your day begins by welcoming guests into the serene atmosphere of our luxury spa and wellness area. You’ll provide a warm, personalized greeting, assist guests with check-in, and guide them through our offerings. Throughout the day, you’ll manage spa bookings, recommend treatments and packages, and ensure that every guest feels valued and cared for. You’ll also maintain the spa’s pristine appearance, oversee the reception area, and handle inquiries with professionalism and care. Whether coordinating schedules or recommending retail products, your role is pivotal in delivering a seamless and memorable wellness experience.

Job Summary

The Spa Concierge is an integral member of the wellness team, responsible for welcoming guests, coordinating spa treatments, managing bookings, and ensuring smooth operations in the spa and wellness areas. This role involves providing personalized service, assisting with guest inquiries, and supporting the overall guest experience at our luxury spa.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing prompt and personalized attention.
• Assist with guest check-in for scheduled appointments and ensure their smooth transition into treatments.
• Provide detailed information about spa treatments, packages, services, retail products, and facilities.
• Address guest inquiries and complaints with a high level of service orientation, ensuring their needs are met promptly.

Operational Excellence:

• Manage spa bookings and handle the spa software systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the spa reception and lobby, including upkeep of furniture, plants, and magazines.
• Ensure all treatment rooms and facilities are prepared and stocked for the day’s operations.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the spa team to ensure seamless communication and a consistent level of service.
• Proactively assist in maintaining a positive and professional environment for both guests and team members.
• Support retail sales by recommending spa products and packages tailored to guest needs.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

• Dual-licensed therapist (able to perform massage, body, and facial treatments) preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant professional experience in a luxury hotel or spa environment.

Skills:

• Strong technical understanding of spa software and treatment booking systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and self-motivated, with the ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Personal Qualities:

• A positive, friendly, and proactive attitude with a guest-centric mindset.
• Host mentality, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized service.
• Flexibility and openness to new challenges, with a focus on continuous development.
