What you will do:

The kitchen is where the magic happens in our Luxury Lodge - and you can be part of that! 

Duties include:

• Preparing menus in collaboration with colleagues
• Ensuring adequacy of supplies at cooking stations
• Training, developing and supporting junior chefs.
• Preparing ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc)
• Following the guidance of the head or sous chefs and have input in new ways of presentation of dishes.
• Putting effort in optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
• Enforcing strict health and hygiene standards

You will bring:

For this position, you must be self-motivated, a team player and work well in a fast-paced environment. Ideally you will have:

• Minimum 2 years previous experience as a Chef de Partie, in a similar standard establishment
• Relevant culinary / hospitality qualifications
• Have excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
• Have the ability to think on your feet as we have many guest requests and menu changes each day
• Have good time management and the ability to multitask.

We offer:

We have three full-time positions offering a minimum of 30 hours per week although you may be expected to work up to 60 hours per week during our peak periods.

We offer a competitive wage; commensurate of your experience and certifications.

Due our private and remote location, you will need to have your own reliable transport.
