Impact of this role

The Director, Reward, Global is a critical leader in shaping and executing the organization’s global reward strategy. This role ensures the company maintains a competitive and equitable total rewards structure to attract, retain, and engage top talent. By aligning rewards with business goals and employee value proposition, this position plays a pivotal role in enhancing performance, engagement, and organizational growth. The Director leads the global reward team, ensuring that compensation, benefits, and performance management strategies are strategic, compliant, and effective across all regions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Reward Strategy: Define and drive the global reward strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and workforce needs.
  • Total Rewards Governance & Policy Development: Establish and govern compensation, benefits, incentives, and equity plans to maintain internal fairness and external competitiveness.
  • Performance-Based Pay and Compensation Reviews: Design and oversee mid-year and year-end salary reviews, incentive structures, and pay-for-performance models to ensure reward structures are meritocratic and competitive.
  • Corporate Staffing Budget Management: Lead the development, governance, and execution of the corporate staffing budget in collaboration with Finance and Talent and Culture teams.
  • Wellbeing and Benefits Framework: Design, recommend, and implement flexible well-being and benefits programs that support associate engagement and productivity.
  • SAP Implementation Roadmap & Strategy: Lead and strategize the SAP HR system implementation to enhance efficiency and data-driven decision-making in compensation and benefits.
  • Executive and Incentive Compensation: Oversee and govern long-term incentive plans (LTIP), discretionary incentive plans (DIP), and short-term incentive plans (STIP).
  • Expatriate & Global Mobility Management: Ensure the company has effective policies and processes for expatriate management and international assignments.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Collaborate with external HR service providers and vendors for salary benchmarking, incentive administration, and benefit plan execution.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with business leaders, Finance, and Talent and Culture teams to align reward structures with Talent and Culture initiatives.
  • Lead and Develop the Global Reward Team: Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to the global reward team to enhance their effectiveness and expertise.

Critical Skills & Qualification

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, and Human Resources systems, including 3-5 years in a regional or global leadership role.

Technical & Functional Skills
  • Deep expertise in total rewards strategies, incentive compensation, and performance management frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of global compensation trends, pay equity regulations, and benchmarking methodologies.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost analysis, and Human Resources technology implementation (SAP or similar HRIS systems).
  • Proven ability to design and implement flexible well-being and benefits programs in a multinational setting.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to interpret complex compensation structures and financial implications

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders, Finance teams, and Talent and Culture partners.
  • High cultural sensitivity and global mindset, with experience managing diverse teams and international reward structures.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex reward data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and drive large-scale global initiatives effectively.
  • Creative mindset and a knack for breaking boundaries, pushing limits, and playing at the forefront of the field.
