THE TEAM 

You will be part of the Food & Beverage leadership team at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, working closely with the Director of Food & Beverage and partnering with Culinary, Events, Rooms, Spa, Finance, and Talent & Culture teams.
This role collaborates cross-functionally with hotel leadership and corporate teams to ensure Rosewood’s service philosophy, culinary vision, and experiential standards are consistently delivered across all dining venues and guest touchpoints. 

YOUR ROLE 

As Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you will support the strategic and operational leadership of all Food and Beverage operations at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl.
You will play a key role in elevating the guest dining experience, driving financial performance, and nurturing a culture of excellence and innovation. Acting as a hands-on leader, you will balance luxury service delivery with operational discipline, ensuring that every culinary and service experience reflects Rosewood’s ultra-luxury positioning and the spirit of place. 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE 

• Support the Director of Food & Beverage in leading day-to-day operations across all restaurants, bars, in-room dining, events, and culinary concepts 
• Drive exceptional guest experiences through consistent service standards, elevated quality, and attention to detail 
• Partner closely with Culinary leadership to align menus, concepts, and presentations with Rosewood’s brand ethos and local identity 
• Lead, coach, and develop F&B leadership and frontline teams to foster engagement, performance, and long-term career growth 
• Play an active role in recruitment, onboarding, and talent pipeline development, ensuring the attraction and retention of top-tier F&B professionals 
• Collaborate with Talent & Culture to build strong succession plans, support learning initiatives, and maintain a positive, inclusive team culture 
• Ensure strong financial performance through cost control, revenue optimization, forecasting, and budget management 
• Oversee compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and brand standards across all outlets 
• Act as a visible leader on the floor, engaging with guests and associates while modeling Rosewood’s service values 

COULD THIS BE YOU? 

• You have 7+ years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage operations, ideally within luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality 
• You bring strong leadership experience across multiple dining concepts, outlets, or large-scale operations 
• You have a solid understanding of F&B financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue management 
• You are a people-focused leader with a proven ability to coach, inspire, and develop high-performing teams 
• You demonstrate a hands-on, guest-centric approach and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment 
• You possess excellent communication skills with fluent English (German is an advantage) 
• You bring cultural sensitivity, professionalism, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences 
• You are proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
