THE IMPACT OF THIS ROLE 


Under the Supervision of the suite service Manager, he assists in achieving the highest level of service and presentation, ensuring that guests receive timely, corteous, and efficient service.

 

Together with the suite service Manager he develops and maintains a staff dedicated to excellence, attentive, impeccable room service equal to that of the best restaurant with a passion for adding unquestionably personalized accommodations to the requests and preferences of our hotel clients

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Ensures that consistently correct serving techniques for various meal periods will be demonstrated by all staff members through the use of job descriptions, ongoing professional training, and examples
  • He is familiar with the Las Ventanas Al Paraiso Personnel Policy Manual, and adheres to established guidelines and procedures.
  •  It is dedicated to excellence, continuous development of the room Service department reputation, public relations of the hotel and its knowledge management development staff
  • Maintains an order taking and service guideline for all food and beverage personnel in order to alleviate inconsistencies, service inefficiencies, and incorrect information
  • Has the management capacity that guarantees the successful handling the Room Service operation in the absence of the Manager

CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 

 

  • Has a complete understanding of all the food and beverages offered at each hotel exit including the ingredients, method of preparation, and appropriate service for each item. He also has a general understanding of culinary classics as well as a complete knowledge of all the wines available on our wine list, including pronunciation, flavor, and geo-graphics of origin
  • Has complete knowledge and the ability to prepare weekly work schedules that allow adequate service based on the weekly occupancy of the resort, while controlling labor costs and over time.
  • Maintains a daily record in the Administrator of the absence to inform the Director of Food and Beverage and Room Service Manager of unusual circumstances and to assist in anticipating future business
  • Maintains clean, tidy Room Service work area including tools, paintings, china, glass, silver, clothing, supplies based on the distintivo H  and distintivo M.
  • Assists in executing banquet style service of all types and levels of complexity in boardrooms. He has a deep knowledge of the procedures and procedures services and coordinates all the room activities with the Restoration Department

 

DEVELOPMENT PATH 

 

This position will allow the associate to increase their responsibility, impact with the management of a department which has contact with different divisions within the resort. The position will allow the associate to create, coordinate and execute new experiences for the guests. Has the ability to help and coordinate the staff to achieve the objectives established for the guests and the company
