About the Role

The Assistant Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring that all activities align with the company’s standards for quality, service, and relationship hospitality. This role supports the Director of Food and Beverage in managing staff, controlling costs, and enhancing the guest experience through exceptional service delivery. This role plays a critical role in marketing and business management, ensuring that all outlets and events operate successfully, and are individually profitable.


Key Responsibilities

·       Assist in the management and coordination of all food and beverage operations, ensuring quality and service standards are met.

·       Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the restaurants, bars, event operations, in-room dining, and any other food and beverage outlets within the property.

·       Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

·       Ensures that the Food and Beverage activities are aligned with the respective corporate strategy, and that the hotel actions have been implemented where appropriate.

·       Liaise with Culinary Division for a collaborative and innovative offering

·       Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring their needs and preferences are anticipated and met.

·       Analyse financial reports to identify trends and implement corrective actions as needed.

·       Ensure a high standard of guest service, addressing and resolving any complaints or issues promptly and professionally.


About You

·       Passion for experiencing food and beverage offerings to stay up to date on trends and innovations

·       Personable leader who enjoys building cohesive teams

·       Solving problems in an efficient and respectful manner is an integral part of who you are.

·       Preferably you’ll have had expose of experience of being part of a pre-opening team.

·       Demonstrate Rosewoods core values and truly be able to share and express your passion for your industry.
