- Ensuring the ultimate guest experience, through a genuinely warm and personalised service
- Inspiring the highest standards through all core departments of the hotel
- Effective financial and manning management
- Coaching and development of our department managers
- Managing logistics and communications around groups and events, ensuring a seamless outcome
- Strong leader willing to work with local task force, coach, develop and engage with respect and understanding
- Engaging with associates, guests and third party companies, as well as suppliers.
- Keeping abreast of the newest trends and innovations in the hospitality industry
- Generally being alert for opportunities to improve the profitability of the hotel
- Taking a proactive approach to administration, coordination of activities and anticipation of potential opportunities.
- Ensuring an incredible employee experience, including, (but not limited to) recruitment, associate housing, engagement and development
- Commitment to Diversity/Inclusion/Belonging; celebrating the differences in the hotel and community.
- Being visible and supportive on the floor of the front of the house as well as the heart of the house
- Ensuring the product is maintained at the highest level.
- Solving problems, to the root cause and implement short & long-term solutions.
- Ability to improve guest experience scores through associate engagement and consistent standards.
- Plus, the ability to adapt and respond to business fluctuations.
- In charge of team member well being and staff housing along with T&C
- A passion for service delivery and hospitality
- Previous (minimum 10 years) Management level experience in 5 Star Luxury Hotels and or Boutique Lodges
- A FB Background, ideally an EAM FB looking at broaden his knowledge and leadership skills.
- Understanding of overall hotel management
- A hardworking and co-operative manner
- Excellent leadership ability and communication skills
- Ability to drive a team and foster team-work
- Previous experience in development and/or coaching
- Administrative management experience, including strong financial acumen
- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to high standards and quality
- An awareness of developments within the food & lodge industries as well as international trends in hospitality
- A high degree of professionalism
- A natural relationship builder
- Passionate about attention to detail, which is critical in delivering luxury experiences
- Highly self-motivated
- Assumes ownership for their role
- Comfortable and calm working under pressure
